How long are my audio files stored?
Free users get 30 days of storage per recording. Chirp Premium subscribers keep their recordings for as long as their subscription is active.
Does the person scanning need the app?
No! Anyone can scan your QR code with their phone's camera and listen in their browser. No download required.
Can I delete a recording?
Yes. Open your Library in the app, select the entry, and tap the delete button. The QR code will stop working once the audio is removed.
What is Chirp Premium?
Chirp Premium is a subscription that keeps your audio recordings active indefinitely (as long as you're subscribed) and unlocks additional features. You can subscribe directly within the app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel.
My QR code isn't working
If a QR code stops playing audio, the recording may have expired (free accounts: 30 days). If you're a Premium subscriber and experiencing issues, please contact us at the email above.
